Luke Horder – Scooter Instructor

Luke has a diploma in Personal Training, a degree in Human Movement, and is currently studying at the Australian College of Physical Education to gain a Graduate Diploma of Education.

As a Scooter Instructor, Luke is able to combine his passion for fitness, sport and an active lifestyle with his desire to educate children.

Luke is an organised, motivated and extremely fit instructor, who has an excellent way of communicating with kids and teaching them in a fun and safe environment.

He has extensive experience training groups, having been a Surf Coach, a Swimming Coach and a Boxing instructor.  Safety and accident prevention have always been a focus, as Luke has gained accreditation for many Surf Life Saving courses.

When he’s not teaching primary school kids all about scooter safety,  he is running group fitness sessions in the early hours of the morning and at night.

Luke is well known in the fitness industry, where he appears and writes for many magazines, in particular Women’s Health & Fitness.

In his spare time, Luke likes to challenge himself. Luke has completed in some of the toughest races, such as the Coolongatta Gold, Australian Ironman, Hawkesbury classic, Glouster Mountain, Sydney Marathon and he recently  reached the summit of Mt Aconcagua (7,000m).

Qualifications: Luke holds Senior First Aid certificate (2013), Gold Medallion SLSA (2010), Silver Medallion Advanced Emergency Care – SLSA (2010), Advanced Resuscitation – SLSA (2010), Silver Medallion Beach Management – SLSA (2009), Certificate IV Personal Trainer – FIA (2004), Cert III Group Fitness Trainer – FIA (2005), Cert III Gym Instructor (2005)
